ARE YOU INTERESTED IN COMING TO SAVING GRACE?

How do I know if I am eligible?

Single young women ages 18-24 who have aged out of foster care or group homes are eligible.  Also eligible are single women in the same age bracket who are living without supportive relationships, living in unsafe or unstable environments, seeking a second chance to start their adulthood, and willing to give their best effort in all they pursue.

Why would I come to Saving Grace instead of going out on my own or living with my friend/boyfriend?

Saving Grace is a safe and caring place for you to live in community with others.  We are here to support you, help you grow, and learn to make wise decisions about your future.  You will not be alone!  Through our program, you can learn how to become an independent woman who is able to care for her own needs . . . and to do it well!  By living at Saving Grace you are choosing to take steps toward becoming the wonderful woman you were meant to be.

Saving Grace will offer you elective growth opportunities in a supportive environment.  Saving Grace will also introduce you with mentors, women who are there help you make sense of life's demands.  Many or our mentors have even committed to continuing the journey with the residents even after they leave Saving Grace.

How much will Saving Grace cost me?

Part of the program at Saving Grace is to teach you how to identify your own living expenses and work to provide for yourself once you leave Saving Grace.  Therefore, you will be asked to pay a minimal rent amount, with the potential for rent reduction based upon your participation in program opportunites and where you are at with meeting program expectations.

How long can I stay?

The average stay for a resident who has finished high school is fourteen to eighteen months.  Of course, Saving Grace will take into consideration your needs when determining the length of your stay.

So, what do I do when I am living at Saving Grace?

You will be living in community with other young women, similar to some college dorms.  There will be expectations like housekeeping, a code of conduct, curfew, etc... Women in the community of Saving Grace will also be participating in the incentive program to reduce their rent.
