Founded in 2009 by Kent and Becky Shaffer, this local mission is all about helping young women in transition: aging out of foster care, group homes, homeless, and/or dealing with life without a sustaining network of relationships.  Saving Grace exists to help young women ages 17-24 unlock doors of opportunity, security and hope through transitional living, independent living education, educational assistance, and supportive relationships.  More importantly, we encourage these young women to deepen their faith, strengthen their resolve and learn to trust others--hopefully in response to a relationship with a trustworthy Saviour.  We hope that in our endeavors to bring hope to our community that we will challenge other communities across our nation to "repair the breach and restore the streets."
