It feels like the Christmas season sneaked up on me this year, as it always does. Despite planning and working to keep everything organized, I find myself in a hurry from the time I wake up until I go to bed. I have to remind myself to slow down and enjoy this sacred season. When we slow down as a community, we see the subtle reminders all around us of neighbors in need... and while you and I prepare to gather with loved ones and find the perfect gift, there are girls in our community searching for a warm place to sleep and a place to call home where they feel safe.

I recently read in a report put out by Annie E. Casey Foundation that said about 50% of the current homeless population were once in foster care. Did you know that when children age out of foster care, statistics show that more than 20% of children become instantly homeless?

But statistics are no match for what God can do in the life of “Grace” through YOU! With your support, she receives not only safe housing, but also counseling, mentoring, education, and good experiences that heal bad experiences.

This Christmas is especially bright at the farm: Grace House (a newly renovated home at the farm) has 18 brand-new bedrooms waiting to be filled with daughters who need hope and and a place to call home. It takes $1,147 each month to sustain one young woman—we can make this happen, together.
